Chiropractic Ultrasound Therapy

Chiropractic Ultrasound Therapy - Chiropractors

If you have chronic back pain or a musculoskeletal injury, you may be looking into chiropractic ultrasound therapy. This is not the same type of ultrasound one would receive to look at a baby, and in fact, this therapy is not recommended for those who are pregnant.

What Is Chiropractic Ultrasound Therapy?

– Sound waves at a frequency beyond normal human hearing capabilities (.72-3 MHz) are localized on the injured or pain-riddled area. This treatment can be thermal or non-thermal. The technician may also expand the therapy to muscles surrounding the injured area in order to treat the full extent of your problem

– This cutting edge treatment will help in repairing the injured tissue and will decrease the pain stimuli, softening its effects.

– It will increase elasticity in tendons and scar tissue, increase blood flow, and decrease or stop muscle spasms. Much of your pain can be caused by the muscles around the injury going into spasm and contraction in response to the injury. This is why a pain that is initiated locally may spread.

– Your chiropractor may consider other options, such as cyrotherapy, if you have any of the following conditions: pregnancy, injury over a pacemaker, circulation problems, acute or sepsis infections, injury over the spine, injury in the eye or testes, or over-growing bones.

Find A Qualified Professional To Administer This Treatment

If you want to make sure that this form of therapy is at least a logical option for you, try looking around for various qualified chiropractors. I am getting ultra sound treatment already but I got a bruise right below my neck from all these treatments, there is no other explanation, I have not hurt myself nor anyone has hurt me. I have only been getting these treatments, I am looking for a second opinion and be seen by another chiropractor just to make sure.
